Narrative Health workshops are a space for us to come together to explore and learn from each other through the stories we tell and how we share with one another. It helps address biases we might hold while also improving language flexibility and understanding and strengthening our narrative competence, an essential skill for leadership and community.

Presented by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officers of EAPS, Chemistry and Biology, this workshop is part of an ongoing monthly workshop series. Each month we will read a short narrative to discuss together, then write and share our own based on a specific theme.

Our objectives and goals for these sessions are to:

Discuss and apply narrative competency skills

Analyze writings of experiences outside our own

Reflect on our experiences and connect to broader MIT communities
