EAPS/Chemistry DEI Reading Group

First meeting! The EAPS/Chemistry DEI Reading Group is a brave and open space for our all members of EAPS and Chemistry at MIT to come together to read, discuss, reflect, and otherwise engage with relevant literature and other media around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to challenge and expand our views of science and academia, each other, and greater communities. This is open to all currently within Chemistry and EAPS – faculty, postdocs, researchers, staff, and students alike.
 
We will be discussing two short articles; Our Disabilities Make Us Better Scientists, and The Beauty of Spaces Created by and for Disabled People.
 
As this is the first meeting, we will also be discussing what members would like to see from the group.
